Individual Counseling
Individual counseling is a service provided within the context of outpatient care. Individual counseling affords the client an opportunity to develop a confidential relationship with a skilled Counselor, in which personal problems can be explored and new perceptions and behavioral responses developed.
Group Counseling
Group counseling sessions provide the opportunity for clients to meet with a counselor in a safe group setting, to help each other resolve emotional/behavioral difficulties, and to learn new ways of interacting with others. Clients share personal feelings, ideas, and problems and develop insight into how their patterns of behavior affect themselves and others.
Culturally Sensitive Servicing
Apex Rising Community Services incorporates treatment services that are culturally sensitive. These services are available on a group or individual basis. The direct care staff are trained in the CLAS standards, ensuring Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) are provided.
Pre-Job Training/Education and Development
These services prepare a person to engage in meaningful work-related activities and may include career / educational counseling, job shadowing, assistance in the use of educational resources, training in resume preparation, job interviewing skills, study skills, work activities, professional decorum and dress, time management, and assistance in finding employment.
Mentoring and Transitional Aged Youth
Apex Rising Community Services is a specialty service provider that aids in supporting transitional-aged youth (T.A.Y.) ages 7-24 to acquire the basic skills to survive and thrive in adulthood. Entering adulthood is a significant developmental period that can become complex if an individual lacks support or faces a multitude of barriers. Apex Rising Community Services can help by providing support and educating individuals to prevent homelessness, acquire job placement, further education, address behavioral health issues, and more! Mentoring/coaching for adults as well.
